If you're looking for a beautiful cherry blossom spot, Yawaragi no Michi in Kameoka City, Kyoto, is the place to be. It is along the Nanatani River stretches about 1 km and once it becomes spring, over 1,500 cherry blossoms bloom. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms.
Right next to the river is Sakura park, which has 28 different types of beautiful cherry blossom blooms with around 280 trees in total. A lot of people visit to enjoy a nice walk and the spring air.
If you’re visiting from March 25 to April 10, 2025, don’t miss out on Kameoka Sakura Week. There will be a beautiful light-up event that adds an enchanting glow to the cherry blossoms in the evening.
