Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival is held from April 19th to May 5th, 2024 at Hirosaki Park.
Located in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture which is in the Tohoku Region.
There are 52 kinds of cherry blossoms such as Yoshino Cherry, Prunus pendula, double cherry blossom, etc. blooming by about 2,600 cherry blossom trees.
The cherry blossom of Hirosaki Park is one of Japan’s three cherry blossom attractions.
Over 2 million visitors come to see cherry blossoms domestically and internationally.
There are many must-see spots for cherry blossom viewing.
Popular one is when the cherry blossom petals fall and cover the surface of the river called “Hanaikada”. It looks like a cherry blossom’s carpet and has very beautiful scenery.
