Oirase Gorge is surrounded by beautiful, deeply natural forest. It is a designated scenic site and natural monument. Located in Towada, Aomori prefecture.
It is one of the best scenic spots to see new green leaves and autumn leaves, but you can also enjoy the view of all four seasons other than summer and fall seasons.
It is about a 14 km stream from Nenokuchi, which is Lake Towada located, to Yakeyama.
Likewise Lake Towada is a great place to visit and view the scenic view of all four seasons. It stretches over Aomori and Akita prefectures, and was formed by volcanic eruption. It is the 3rd deepest lake and the 12th largest lake in Japan.
