Akarenga Soko is one of Yokohama’s popular family and dating spots. There are many shops and restaurants inside the building, and various seasonal events held outside the building.
During the wintertime, there will be an outdoor ice-skating rink and Christmas market where you can buy amazing food and gifts.

Also, in February, there will be a Strawberry Festival at Yokohama Akarenga Soko where many vendors across Japan will be selling delicious seasonal strawberries including strawberry themed/inspired merchandise, desserts, and drinks. Don’t worry! There will be free strawberry sampling before you can purchase them. Plus, there will be a strawberry shaped bounce house for kids and we’re pretty sure the festival itself will be “berry” instagrammable!
